Hi NAME
Yesterday I sent you an email asking what questions you have about improving your social skills
Do keep a lookout as I’ll be writing emails to answer them throughout the week
If you still have any other questions, you’re welcome to reply to this email (I read all the replies)
To that point, I also think we should get to know each other better
So in this email, I wanna share my social skills journey and how you can improve yours over the next few weeks!
A brief intro about me:
* I was born and raised in London
* Started martial arts when I was 6 and trained for many years to the point where I competed at a semi-professional level
* Martial arts gave me a sense of confidence internally. However, I couldn't portray myself in the right way. Thus, didn’t find much success socially
* In fact, I was pretty "weird" so many people perceived me as such
* This affected my ability to form romantic relationships or social circles which made me feel rejected and lonely
That's when I shifted my focus from martial arts to social skills
I was in uni at that time so my game plan was simple:
1. Go out with socially strong people
I’d go down to the pubs and restaurants with people whom I thought were socially competent
I’d model after them, analyse what they do, how they act, and how they speak—reverse engineering why and how it works
2. Hang out with as many "types" of people as possible
I made it a point to hang out with as many groups of people as possible
I’d be out with goths
And then hippies
Then the “cool kids” (party animals)
I believed that as long as I exposed myself to different “subcultures”, it trained me to be adaptable in various social situations
3. Go out as many times as I can
I saw improving social skills like martial arts. If I was placed in a situation 100 times, I’ll get accustomed to it where it no longer scares me + it’ll make me competent.
I did these three practices for years
Studying and learning social skills/human nature from first-hand experience
Till eventually, started finding success in my social life
Found like minded people and built a social circle of friends whom I can now journey through life with
Was able to go on many dates and eventually found someone who I love
I now run a business on social skills and built a team around me
And that's just some of the results I got from improving my social skills
Others include...
No longer having awkward moments in social situations, being able to be the center of attention without feeling anxious, being funny, and making others laugh (using my "weirdness" to my advantage)
My skills were developed further once I started coaching others
Whether it’s the single man who can’t seem to attract women into his life
Or the person who wants to use social skills to find success in the workplace
Or perhaps it's the lady who feels intimidated by interpersonal conflicts
All these unique social situations refined my understanding of social skills to where I am today.
Personally, I believe that we’re living in a time where people are more connected than ever yet we feel socially distant
I want to help people like you to get back to your human touch and be able to freely and fully express yourself socially—connecting with others while building a life that you love
As such, I now run company where we’ve helped hundreds of people thus far (over 140 5-star reviews just on TrustPilot) and will continue to do so
We mainly do so through three of our programs
* Our workshops
* Online course (how to not run out of things to say)
* And one-to-one coaching sessions (most effective)
I’ve made them all affordable (compared to what you see out there) so that most people can get access to the right information
Anyhow, I appreciate you being here in this newsletter!
I’m excited to share more of my learnings and knowledge to help you improve your social life
Stay tuned for the next email
Till then,
